What are the Best Book Review Sites?
BookCaliber.com
When you are looking to follow Amazon
terms of service you want a site that will promote a free copy of
your book in exchange for unbiased reviews. Many sites offer this
service and since this is an ad for BookCaliber it’s hard not to be
a little biased. But I will try my best not to be 😊
www.NetGalley.com
is by far the champ when it comes for promoting a book to readers in
exchange for reviews. They cost a lot and have plenty of variations
and packages to cater to your needs. They have a large reader base
since they contract with publishers getting some heavy hitter books
in the mix. If you have the budget they are the perfect solution.
www.StoryCartel.com
is a much smaller site. They have been around awhile and have a good
following. Their site is easy for readers to use. The system for
promotion is rather confusing. You buy tokens and need to exchange
them for different levels of service.
www.BookCaliber.com
is new for 2017. With ongoing and active marketing to attract new
readers. They also offer very simple and cheap packages. For those
with larger budgets they offer an Amazon sponsored giveaway. Amazon
hosts the giveaway and ships the winner a Kindle Fire 7” Tablet.
It enters to win participants need to social share or some other
activity (you can pick). It’s a great way to get a lot of
promotion.
There are plenty of other book review
sites out there. Before you pick one or multiple check the current
listing. Do they have reviews? Do they have reviews mentioning the
reader received the book for free? What about the number of social
shares going on? Do they offer your money back if the service
doesn’t produce results?
